During the Jinja Excursions, we take you through a variety of adventurous activities to give you a broader experience of the town’s exquisite culture and the discoveries this vibrant town and its outskirts grace you with. We take you on an escape from the bustle and hustle of Kampala in the afternoon for Jinja particularly to the source of the Nile and reach in time for an evening Nile cruise with alcohol and snacks upon availability.  After the cruise, we will check into the hotel for the overnight and set our minds for the adrenalin thrills the next morning. Jinja’s nightlife also has a vibrant scene which makes for a good option for nights out in the city.

Indulge in a captivating community walk through the vibrant Jinja District, where you’ll savour the rich flavours of local cuisine and immerse yourself in the colourful tapestry of its cultural heritage. Discover hidden culinary gems, engage with friendly locals, and create lasting memories on this immersive journey of taste and tradition.
Enjoy the sunset on a boat cruise to the spot where River Nile emerges from Lake Victoria and browse through craft kiosks where you can pick up a souvenir for yourself or a loved one. We return to shore for lunch in the cool breeze of the source.
Tourists have the opportunity to visit Nile Reptile Park to see some of Uganda’s most famous crawlers. We can arrange for you to have a close-up with a reptile of your choice: photos with a giant snake curled around your neck will earn you some serious bragging rights.
After lunch you will enjoy another adventurous activity that does not require qualifications, you will ride along the shores of the Nile through villages, gardens and plantations. At the end of the activity, you will go back to your hotel freshen up and get ready for dinner.
Immerse yourself in the waters of the Nile getting in touch with your bold side whilst experiencing the adrenaline rush from conquering the rapids of the Nile.  Tourists will be briefed about rafting and be given gadgets to help them have fun on the longest river in the world, the Nile.
While in Jinja, tourists can go zip-lining in Mabira Forest where you will have your adrenaline tested as you swing high up in the tree canopy freeing your inner monkey whilst simultaneously giving yourself a bird’s eye view from above. After enjoying our packed lunch, we will then hop back in our tourist van and head back to Kampala.
