Details
Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into a vast palm-dotted savannah. The park’s leading feature is marked by the Victoria Nile which squeezes through a 7-meter wide cleavage and plunges through a 40-meter fall forming an amazing rainbow in the hotter hours of the day, with a stream that flows quietly across the rift valley into Lake Albert.
This stretch of the river, and the palm-dotted savannah, provide Uganda’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles; Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, and Aquatic birds are permanent residents.
When you come to the Nile River in Uganda, you become part of the lineage of travellers from abroad who were drawn by the power and mystique of this legendary watercourse. Such is a quench for the adrenaline-rush junkies and an experience you will not draw satisfaction from in one day or night. Three days is a perfect deal.
We will set off from Kampala at 06:30 hours and head to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to experience the endangered white Rhino. While at the sanctuary you will go Rhino tracking with the rangers who will share with you conservation talks, what they are doing, various creatures in the sanctuary and their general day-to-day activities.
After the Rhino tracking, we will drive towards Masindi and opt to either have lunch at the Rhino sanctuary or in Masindi town. You will then drive to the park in time to check into your hotel, have a swim or relax with a cool view of the River Nile.

Activity: Rhino tracking
Wake up early for a wildlife safari drive, where we will be searching for the big four, hyenas, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes among the many other mammals, reptiles, birds and plant species.
Enjoy either a bush lunch or a hot lunch in time for the launch cruise to see more wildlife and the mighty falls. Spend the whole day in the wild in search of flora and fauna.
Activity: Wildlife Safari drive and boat cruise
Wake for your breakfast at leisure and after, we will drive through the park as we leave, keep your eyes peeled for more wildlife. We shall have a packed lunch that we shall enjoy en route to Kampala.
