DETAILED itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Karamoja – Cultural Immersion
Arrive in Moroto or Kidepo region depending on your starting point. Visit a traditional Karamojong manyatta, where community guides explain cultural heritage, cattle traditions, beadwork, homestead design, and daily life.
Evening storytelling around a campfire with local elders.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Cultural camp / Lodge / Community campsite

Day 2: Cultural Hike – Mountain or Savannah Trek

Begin your guided trek early through semi-arid savannah or rocky mountain trails such as Mount Moroto, Mount Ik, or Lopeduru ranges.
Along the hike, spot wildlife, local herds, birds, and nomadic pathways used by Karamojong herders.
Visit a highland village for cultural exchange, warrior dance demonstrations, and traditional millet beer tasting.
Return to camp in the evening.

Day 3: Optional Extension – Kidepo Valley National Park

Transfer back to Moroto or continue to your next destination.
