DETAILED itinerary

  The Experience
The walk begins at the Kalinzu Visitor Centre, where a trained guide introduces you to the forest’s ecosystem, wildlife, and conservation efforts. The trail winds through towering trees, thick vines, and lush undergrowth, with the sounds of forest life accompanying every step.

During the walk, you may encounter troops of chimpanzees, though sightings are not guaranteed outside of tracking sessions. The forest is also home to blue monkeys, baboons, and over 370 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco and Black-and-White Casqued Hornbill. Your guide will point out medicinal plants, butterflies, and other fascinating forest details.
