OVERVIEW

The impressive Mountain gorilla trek experience, trek through local villages and lush rainforests with the breathtaking reward of finding yourself in the company of a family of gorillas. These are one of Africa's major highlights, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to approximately more than half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas, the world's most endangered ape. A close encounter with these amazing animals is not soon forgotten.

DETAILED itinerary

 Day 1: 
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, overnight at Karibu Guest House

Day2:
Scheduled flight to Kisoro- transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early breakfast and check out​y
Transfer to Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight to Kisoro airstrip (0700 -0830 hours)
Arrive  and you will be welcomed by your driver guide
Transfer to Bwindi National Park, best known for its impressive mountain Gorillas tracking but it is also provides refuge to Elephants, Monkeys, Butterflies and various small antelopes as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine rift.
Meet Gorilla doctors, you will be transferred to the offices where the Gorilla Doctor will give you a power point presentation giving details about Gorillas, background , behavior, history and conservancy concerning gorillas. They will explain about community health programs, environmental sanitation and community livelihood (this meeting will be 1 hour, and there is sapce for your questions)
Arrive at your lodge and checkin and relax

Day 3
Mountain Gorilla Trekking and meet the Silverback Gorilla Family
Early breakfast
Transfer to starting point of your trekking; meet your ranger and have a briefing to prepare for your trekking. The trek can take between half an hour to six hours looking for Gorillas. You can spend 1 hour to view the gorilla family.
Gorilla trekking: hike with local park ranger to find and see the mountain gorillas.
Afternoon leisure at the lodge or enjoy other activities by the lodge at own cost.
Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 4
Scheduled Flight to Entebbe
Early breakfast
Transfer with your guide to Kisoro airstrip
Scheduled flight to entebbe Airport (0845 -1125 hours)
Connect to your departure flight to Masai Mara (1145 -1400 hours)
