This 7-day Chimpanzee Habituation Safari is designed for travelers who want a deep, unhurried wildlife experienceacross western Uganda. DETAILED itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala 
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on arrival time, enjoy an optional city tour.

Day 2: Kampala – Fort Portal – Kibale
 ForestDrive west through lush countryside, tea plantations, and scenic lakes. Arrive in Fort Portal for lunch and continue to your lodge near Kibale Forest.
Highlights: Tea estates, crater lakes, Tooro Kingdom landscapes
Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp / Turaco Treetops

Day 3: Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary 
WalkTake a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland, a community-run conservation area home to primates like red colobus, black-and-white colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and abundant birdlife.
Trekking Time: 2–3 hours
Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp / Turaco Treetops

Day 4: Chimpanzee Habituation – Full Day
Begin at dawn from Kanyanchu Visitor Centre. Join researchers to follow chimps from their nests, observe feeding, grooming, vocal behavior, and movement throughout the day. Spend up to 4 hours with the chimp community.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game
 DriveDrive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most iconic safari destination. Enjoy an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains for lions, elephants, antelopes, and buffaloes.

Day 6: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start with a sunrise game drive, then enjoy a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel — famous for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and pelicans.

Day 7: Return to Kampala – Departure
