LIVE. LAUGH. TREK.
Experience Uganda’s dramatic volcanic landscapes on the Mgahinga Volcano Hikes, where adventure meets breathtaking scenery at the edge of the Virunga Mountains. The park offers two main summit options: Mount Muhavura (4,127m) — “The Guide,” a steep and commanding peak straddling the Uganda-Rwanda border; and Mount Gahinga (3,474m) — “The Pile of Stones,” a gentler climb that passes through lush bamboo forests and crater wetlands. Each hike is a full-day adventure through rich montane ecosystems teeming with birdlife, golden monkeys, and sweeping views across the Virunga range, including the distant peaks of Sabyinyo and Karisimbi.
