LIVE. LAUGH. TREK.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife National Parks, second largest of ten National parks, offering a mix of savannah, wetlands, crater lakes, and forests. It's home to four of the Big Five—lions (including the rare tree-climbing lions of Ishasha), leopards, elephants, and buffalo—along with hippos, crocodiles, and over 600 bird species. The park features several unique trekking experiences, including chimpanzee tracking in the dramatic Kyambura Gorge and nature walks around the crater lakes and Maramagambo Forest. Visitors can explore the ancient salt mining traditions in Katwe town and tour the nearby salt lakes, which provide striking scenery and cultural insights. Fishing villages along Lake Edward and Lake George offer glimpses into the daily lives of local communities and opportunities for cultural interaction.
