This 15-day Ugandan safari offers a thrilling journey through the country’s top landscapes and wildlife spots. Starting in Entebbe, you’ll head to Jinja for two days of optional adventure activities on the Nile. Explore Sipi Falls with a guided trek and cultural tours before continuing to Murchison Falls for game drives, a Nile boat safari, and a visit to the waterfall’s summit. Next, track chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. In Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and spot tree-climbing lions in Ishasha. Then, trek gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, followed by a night drive and bush walk in Lake Mburo. The trip ends in Entebbe on day 15, capping a diverse adventure of landscapes, wildlife, and culture.
DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Overnight at Via Via Guesthouse to rest and recover from your journey. Days 2–3: Jinja – Adventure Activities Drive to Jinja, East Africa’s adventure capital. Optional activities: white-water rafting, bungee jumping, quad biking, Nile boat cruises. Explore the Source of the Nile and local culture. Day 4: Sipi Falls Travel to Sipi Falls near Mount Elgon. Enjoy scenic hikes and treks around the three waterfalls. Optional: coffee tour or abseiling. Days 5–7: Murchison Falls National Park Day 5: Drive to Murchison Falls NP. Day 6: Early morning game drive, afternoon boat safari to the base of the falls. Day 7: Morning game drive and a relaxed afternoon at leisure. Day 8: Top of Murchison Falls & Transfer to Kibale Visit the dramatic Top of the Falls viewpoint. Long scenic drive to Kibale National Park. Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Afternoon Bigodi Wetland Walk—a birding and primate hotspot.
